Why sponsor the Home instead of a specific child?
When we sponsor a child individually, we can unintentionally create dynamics that hurt them. The foundation chose a different model: sponsoring the Home as a community.

How much does it cost to sponsor the Home?
Sponsorship is $150,000 COP per month (≈ $40 USD), enough to cover the collective basic needs of the children: nutrition, clothing, education, health, housing and recreation.
Can I choose which child I interact with?
You will interact with different children on a rotating basis. This policy emotionally protects all children: no one feels rejected for not being 'chosen,' and if a sponsor stops contributing, no child feels personal abandonment.
Will I receive updates about the children?
Yes. You will receive quarterly updates about the Home and its children, with real photos and stories. You will also have direct interaction with different children on a rotating basis.
Can I sponsor from abroad?
Absolutely! We welcome sponsors from all over the world. Contact us via WhatsApp and we'll help you with the payment methods available for your country.
Can I visit the foundation?
Yes. Sponsors can visit Casa Buena Semilla with prior coordination. We also offer community tours through Barrio Egipto.
Is sponsorship monthly or can I make a one-time payment?
It can be monthly (recurring) or a one-time contribution. If you choose monthly, we send a WhatsApp reminder with a payment link to make it easy to repeat each month.
Can I contribute a smaller amount?
Yes. We accept donations for smaller amounts, where several sponsors collectively support a child.
